What is Dimensional Weighing?
Dimensional weighing is the shift in the shipping industry by determining shipping prices based on a package’s volume as well as weight, and charge for whichever is greater.
Why has dimensional weighing become such a key focus? A carrier’s truck is often filled due to space restrictions much sooner than it reaches its weight capacity, such as over-using packing materials, which creates empty space in boxes.

The iDimension Plus helps prevent revenue loss by providing accurate dimensional weight calculations required by parcel and postal carriers. Put the iDimension Plus to use right away—simply open and assemble to instantly display dimensions.

iDimension LTL
Ideal for LTL carriers and companies with a high percentage of product shipped via pallet or crate, the iDimension LTL removes the potential for human error when taking measurements. The extra labor of manually determining dimensions is eliminated by accurately capturing freight dimensions in less than two seconds.
Great for LTL shipping of pallets and crates.
iDimension Plus XL
The iDimension® Plus XL is specifically designed for integrators to provide flexibility in the installation of a dimensioning solution anywhere over a conveyor, table or scale from a pole, ceiling mount or support beam. An optional stand is available for ease of integration over a static roller conveyor at 60.2 inches (Legal for Trade) or 79 inches above the platform. The iDimension Plus XL can be used with UPS Worldship and a barcode scanner to add barcode data to process records.
Useful for dimensioning over conveyors, tables, etc.
