We recently completed a unique project for the federal government involving 40,000 LB platform scales with ramps for weighing cargo helicopters.
The system was comprised of three custom 770 15' x 5' x 5" platforms with ramps from Cambridge Scale Works. We paired the system with a 920i Rice Lake indicator and four Laser Light remote displays.
Our scale technicians installed the scale seamlessly and performed final calibration. The scales are now fully functional and in use by the U.S. Army. They were very pleased with the outcome of the scale system and expect other bases to adopt similar setups in the future.
